ABERON LTD. provides technical assistance to the Agricultural University of Plovdiv (AU - Plovdiv) for the implementation of the project "Environmental Management Enhancement by Youth-run SMEs" - EnvironmentYou, funded by the Cross-Border Cooperation Program INTERREG V-A Greece - Bulgaria 2014-2020.

The EnvironmentYou project focuses on the successful dissemination and effective implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) in small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the field of agriculture, led by young people in the cross-border area between Greece and Bulgaria.

The activities of the EnvironmentYou project aim to build an ecological business culture and to promote the principles of sustainable development among young professionals. The aim of the project is to initiate the process of transition of the business from the approach "only for profit" to the process of protection and enrichment of natural resources and the environment. This approach will ensure the preservation of the ecological capital of the region, while at the same time creating a solid foundation for strong and sustainable economic growth. The overall goal is to cultivate an environmentally responsible business culture among young people in the cross-border region, focusing on enterprises working with soil and water resources, and in particular those close to or falling within Natura 2000 protected areas.
