The consortium of partners in the project RAWFIE - (Road, Air and Water based Future Internet Experimentation) is pleased to invite all stakeholders to participate in the Second Call for Proposals.

Expected duration of participation for RAWFIE-OC2-EXT is 18 months (starting from July, 2017 to December, 2018), and for RAWFIE-OC2-EXP 12 months (starting from October, 2017 to September, 2018).

Maximum amount of financial support for RAWFIE-OC2-EXT-UGV and RAWFIE-OC2-EXT-UAV is 150 000 EUR, for RAWFIE-OC2-EXP-SCI – 100 000 EUR, and for RAWFIE-OC2-EXP-SME – 75 000 EUR.

On November 24 at BEST WESTERN CITY HOTEL was held a science conference "Ecosystem services mapping and assessment of heathland and schrubs ecosystems (H&S) and agroecosystems (AE) in Bulgaria (outside NATURA 2000)" funded from the financial mechanism of the European economic area 2009-2014.  The project is the realization of the initiative for mapping and evaluation of ecosystem services in the European Union (MAES) and the upcoming economic evaluation of natural capital for all the countries of the European Union.

The Conference was attended by representatives of various governmental and scientific institutions, representatives of the private sector and independent experts from Sofia and the country.

As a partner in the project “Ecosystem services mapping and assessment of heatland and shrubs ecosystems in Bulgaria (outside Natura 2000) EPSILON BULGARIA a will take part in the conference organized by MEW under the title “Listening to nature, Providing Solutions”.

The conference will present the results of projects funded under the programs BG02 'Integrated management of marine and inland waters' and BG03 'Biodiversity and ecosystems' of the “Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2009-2014”.

On the 29 September of this year an agreement for cooperation was signed between EPSILON BULGARIA OOD and HR Wallingford (, a leading research institute in the field of environment.

Part of EPSILON team took part in the Danube Transnational Programme thematic annual event in Bucharest (Romania) on 29th September 2016.

On September 14, experts from EPSILON BULGARIA took part in the organized by the European Commission information day to present the open invitations for submission of project proposals on under the Horizon 2020 programme for 2017.

On 23 of August 2016 between the Ministry of environment and water  and SU “St Kliment Ohridski” was signed an agreement for funding additional activities for the project “ Ecosystem services mapping and assessment of heathland and shrubs ecosystems in Bulgaria - outside NATURA 2000"(SHE-BG).
